This book builds on the first year of Character Education to complete the second program for primary students. The book reflects a complete plan for engaging a school community in the mission of character development. Focusing on particular virtues such as respect and courage, core problems within Character Education in schools are being addressed. This program will work well on individual classroom basis, but will be most effective when implemented on a schoolwide scale. When students see the values being practiced in the total education environment, they will be more easily led to base all of their actions on these values.
