GERRIC is the Gifted Education Research, Resource and Information Centre at the University of New South Wales, Australia. It was started in 1991, and officially opened in 1997.
There is a strong academic focus on teaching and research in gifted education, and a varied program has been developed to cater for the needs of children, parents and teachers.
This includes:
- vacation programs for gifted children
- courses and seminars for parents
- counselling services for gifted students and parents
- conferences, seminars and workshops for teachers
- range of resources
