Hi everyone

Hi everyone, I am a new member here. I have one 9 year-old highly gifted visual spatial son. We thought putting him in the private school might cater him more, apparently it is not the case. The lack of understanding of gifted education is always the issue no matter which school. We always say as long he is happy there, we are satisfied. But deep down, we still want him to show his true potential. He taught himself how to read at age 3, but at age 9 now, he doesn't have much drive to read more. His overexcitibilities make him different from other kids in school. Some parents commented on that, and I am so sick of explaining. It is funny that no one will judge when people are pretending but they judge when you are being yourselves. Let me know what you think. Cheers.
